Peppermint has long been used as a soothing herbal digestive. Studies show that peppermint oil has anti-spasmodic properties, and its commonly used as a remedy for relieving abdominal pain & discomfort. We’ve put a spin on the classic choc-mint combo with aniseed. Liquorice-like in flavour, it’s believed to be analgesic (pain-relieving), and have bloat-reducing properties.Â
Finally for a really happy gut, we’ve rounded out the Loving Earth Happy Gut Bar with Marshmallow root. This is a superfood herb that has mucilaginous properties, which simply means it forms a soothing and protective layer over the digestive tract.
